STATE COLLEGE, Pa., October 27, 2020 — The parent company of Centre1st Bank, a Division of Old Dominion National Bank, has appointed Jacob “Jake” Doyle Corman III to its Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to have Senator Corman as the newest member of our Board as Centre1st continues to grow the number of small- and mid-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, consumers and other customers we serve in State College and throughout Central Pennsylvania,” said the bank’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark Merrill.
Corman was elected to the Senate of Pennsylvania in 1998. He represents the 34th Senatorial District, which includes all of Centre, Mifflin, and Juniata Counties and part of Huntingdon County. Senator Corman was elected by his colleagues to serve as Majority Leader of the Senate for the 2015-16 legislative session, the second highest ranking position in Senate Leadership. He previously served as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and is currently an ex-officio member. He also serves as chair of the Rules and Executive Nominations Committee.

Corman received his Associate Degree in Communications from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He resides with his family in Bellefonte, Centre County.
